On the 20th of October 2018, Reach Africa foundation with the financial support of Municipality of the Hague (Gemeente Den Haag) Burgemeester en wethouders Centraal Subsidiebureau, took up the challenge to put together a Dutch, African Cultural Festival Day. The events motivated an ideal opportunity to showcase the beauty of African community in The Hague using our talents and stimulate inter-cultural relationship between African communities with its diver’s culture in The Hague. The venue was Mandela plain 1,

The outcome of the event was able to draw the Dutch government, other relevant institutions, and diver’s culture closer to the African community so that they can cooperate and work together more. It provided a forum for the transfer of knowledge and shearing of information. It facilitated a relaxing environment for multicultural ethnic groups to get together happily and network.

Reach Africa through this festival was able to sell African heritage to the diverse cultures in The Hague which was a source of integration to the society, promoted a strong networking among so many cultures that participated, encouraged cooperation and effective integration in to the Dutch society and bring the African community closer to the city council and its institutions.
