WOMEN SPOTS ACTIVITIES 2010
From February 2010 to November 2012 Reach Africa Foundation organize deferent sports activities for African migrant women in the Hague, Netherlands ranging from Basketball, Football, Table tennis, Land tennis, Gymnastic, Athletics, badminton. This activity takes place every Saturday from 13.00 uurs to 15.30 uurs a day. Our target group were women and girls. The women were encouraged in various sport activities to take more care of their own health, self awareness and the meaning of their own good health and to give them also health information for their family and environments.
This project was sponsored by the Municipality of Hague or City of The Hague (Dienst Onderwijs, Cultuur en Welzijn)Basketball, Football, Table tennis, Land tennis, Gymnastic, Athletics, badminton. The mission of Reach Africa Foundation is to provide opportunities for the under-privileged in Africa and for African immigrants in the Netherlands by offering assistance, education, stimulation and empowerment. The Pan-Africa community will be nurtured through their development as they acquire the skills to be self-sufficient and obtain a better quality of life.
