Reach Africa Foundation the Hague, took up the challenge to organize an African Cultural Day.

In 2003, the Reach Africa Foundation in The Hague took up the challenge of organizing the first African Cultural Day, a two-day event aimed at showcasing the vibrant and diverse African culture in the Netherlands and across Europe. This cultural celebration was designed to exhibit and promote various aspects of African heritage, including art, businesses, culture, dance, fashion, and delicious African cuisine.

The event featured a variety of African businesses, offering goods, merchandise, consultancies, and services. It also showcased African art, including paintings and sculptures, as well as traditional African clothing. In addition to these, the event highlighted a wide array of specially prepared African delicacies and fostered a sense of unity among Africans in the Netherlands and Europe.
