Financial and Material Assistance to the less-privileged in Africa

Reach Africa Foundation successfully mobilised materials like second hand clothes/shoes, bags, assistance from individuals, companies and organizations in the Netherlands to aid and cloth the underprivileged community based organizations in Nigeria and Republic of Benin.. Namely:

  • The Police Widows Association, Lagos
  • The Spinal Cord Injuries Association of Nigeria, Lagos
  • The Handicap Women Organisation, Cotonou, Republic of Benin.
  • SOS Children’s Village, Isolo, Lagos

The objective of this project is to:

  1. Prevent women and children from being exposed or going nearly naked.
  2. Provide coverage to protect them from the scorching heat of the sun.
  3. Address the rising rate of theft among the poor, particularly regarding clothing and shoes.

The funds raised were used to cover transportation costs, including shipping and boat fees, for exporting the materials to Nigeria via sea. These resources were then distributed to community-based organizations serving less privileged populations, providing them with much-needed assistance.
