INITIAL NETWORKING
In 2002, Reach Africa Foundation visited international organizations and African embassies in the Netherlands and Belgium. The intention was to establish working relations.
CONFERENCE
In 2003, Reach Africa Foundation organized its first conference, “Towards Improving Businesses of African Migrants in The Netherlands”.
CONFERENCE 2003
In the same year (2003), Reach Africa Foundation organized its second conference, “Toward Promoting Unity and role of the Diaspora Africans in The Netherlands, Europe and Africa.” This event was in conjunction with African Cultural Day.
FOOD RELIEF
Reach Africa signed an agreement with Voedselbank to distribute food relief to the needy. The purpose is to fight the hidden poverty and hunger among unemployed and underemployed African immigrants in The Hague.
MATERIAL ASSISTANCE
In 2006, Reach Africa Foundation successfully mobilized and distributed used clothes and shoes donated by individuals, companies and organizations in The Netherlands to aid underprivileged communities in Nigeria and Benin.
AFRICAN CULTURAL DAY
This event was held in conjuction with the second Conference. African Cultural Day celebrated and promoted African cultures in the Netherlands and throughout Europe.
SPORT ACTIVITIES
From February to November 2010, Reach Africa Foundation organized various sports activities for African immigrant women in The Hague. The activities included basketball, football, table tennis, gymnastics, tennis and badminton.
POULTRY PROJECT
This project was coordinated with cooperation between Reach Africa Foundation and three international organizations (Cordaid The Hague, Wilde Ganzen Helverson, and NCDO Amsterdam).
